Nenu Sailaja Movie Review

Taking a gap from routine action entertainers Hero Ram came up with a family entertainer. “Neenu Sailaja” movie released today and receiving positive reviews. Lets see what does it contain.

Story:

Hari (Ram) works in a night club as a DJ. He has a habit of falling in love with any girl being friendly with him. But as he proposes they just reject by saying that “you are my friend”. This leads Hari to take a break from girls and love. But one day he came through Sailaja (Keerthi Suresh) and at once he feel in love with her. But due to his past experiences he never approached her.

But as their friendship grew old, Hari proposed Sailaja. Twist comes in the story when Sailaja says that “I love you, but I am not in love with you.”

So now why did Sailaja rejected Hari’s love. How did Ram solved her problem and get her back.

Positive Points:

The main plus point in the movie is the first Half and Devi Sri Prasad’s Music. The complete first half is very entertaining and lovely. Situational comedy by hero and his friends, and love track of Hero & heroine was shown very newly , which made first half refreshing.

Coming to the leading pairs. Hero Ram did a wonderful job. His transformation from regular mass roles to a complete lover boy is quite impressive. Ram’s acting is very natural in the movie. Heroine Keerthi Suresh also did a nice job, however she doesn’t have dialogs to say, but her angry expression throughout the movie is very nice.

All the other senior actors like Satya Raj, Naresh Senior Prince did their jobs with a nice dedication. Supporting role by Dhanya Balakrishna is also shown in a hilarious way.

Negative Points:

Where first half is plus for the movie, second is a minus. First half is very entertaining and lively, where second half is sloppy and filled with loads of sentiments which made the movie a bit boring and slow. Every scene is very predictable in the second half.

Father and daughter scenes are also not written well as it lacks clarity.

Technical Department:

The first person to be talk about in this department is Devi Sri Prasad. His music filled the required color for this colorful love story.  Not only his music but also his background score gave the required feel to every scene. Camera work is top notch and so was the art direction. Dialogues need a special mention as they have been written with a lot of simplicity and yet connect big time.

Director Kishore Tirumala did a half nice job and spoiled the next half. He wrote first half script quite well but spoiled the second half. His dialogs were good but screenplay is bit dull in second half. However he did a nice try to give a different movie  from regular mass masala entertainers.

Verdict:-

Finally Hero Ram came out of his regular mass movies and gave a clean family entertainer. We wish he continue like this for other upcoming project.

The movie is a relief from regular mass and formulaic flicks. It is a must watch movie.
