Edu Gold Ehe Telugu Movie Review

Hero Sunil is working very hard for a huge hit like his earlier movies “Matyada Ramanna” and “Poola Rangadu”. However he is missing something in his movies, which is making him constantly upset. But instead of giving up, he is trying different movies to get a hit. In this trails, he came up with “Edu Gold Ehe” today. Let’s see how the movie is.

Story:-

Innocent boy Bangaraju (Sunil) struggles a lot in his life to settle down. After doing series of odd jobs, he came to Hyderabad and started living with a family, who loves him very much. Everything is going fine, when all of a sudden a dangerous criminal started hunting for Bangaraju.

The reason is that Bangaraju has stolen something precious from that criminal’s house. Now why he did that and on what purpose, how does he got away from the whole mess is rest of the story.

Positive Point:

Sunil is not only a good comedian but also a very good actor. He carried the whole movie on his shoulder. He gave a matured and honest performance, which will connect to the audience instantly. Heroine Sushma Raj is good in her character. Another heroine Disha Panani’s acting is below par and she needs to improve a lot.

Coming to the movie, the thriller element in the flick is nice . Interval bang is good. Comedy by Prudhvi and Shakalaka Shankar is very nice, especially the farm scene in the movie will be loved by all.

Negative Points:

Screenplay of the movie is not as good as the script. Director Managed to write a good script but failed to give a racy screenplay. Love track between leading pair is illogical and not convincing. Logic misses in many scenes.

Songs are another drawback for the movie, as none of them clicked.

Technical Aspects:

In this department only the production values are appreciable, the movie looks very rich. Besides this Music is just a bad memory, however background score is good. Editing is below par and Dialogs are just ok.  Coming to Veeru Potla, the talented director does a mediocre job. He creates a good story that has both thrilling and comedy elements but his narration is a bit let down as the film had good elements to be showcased which he missed out on big time.

Verdict:

Veerupotla’s thrilling script and Sunil’s honest performance made the movie a onetime watch.  Besides this nothing worked in the flick. Sunil will have to adjust again with an average result. A better screenplay and some decent comedy track would have taken the movie to another level.
