Vijay's Puli Movie Review

Vijay’s Puli which was scheduled for October 1^st release, due to some financial problems released today in Telugu. However this movie is not getting the talk as expected. Even this movie is being considered a competition of Bahubali, People are not even seems to care it.

Story:

Puli movie stars with abackdrop of a fantasy kingdom named 'Vedhala Kotai' which is ruled by evil queen Sridevi, and Sudeep is her army commander who leads a mysterious team of warriors known as 'Vedhalangal' and they got certain super human abilities. They also treat them as slaves and take complete control over them. The villagers finally turn towards Vijay because of his courageous activities in many situations. How Vijay takes on the evil gang of 'Vedhalangal' despite their super power abilities forms the crux of the story.

Performences:

When it comes to performances, firstly we should talk about Sudheep, who played a evil commander. He is the only positive in the flick. Besides him Hero Vijay is somewhat bearable to watch. He is not up to his mark in the movie.

Sridevi is definitely kicking herself for saying yes to role & rejecting Bahubali’s Shivagami role.
 Heroines Sruthi Haasan & Hanshika were just there because there should be a female lead. Others were just average in their Play.

Tech Department:

In Technical department also there is only a one person who would be worthy for praising & he is cinematographer Natty. He showcased the movie in a nice way which protected the movie being a disaster.

Music is the worst part in the movie & also the background music. Devi Sri is just below par from his capabilities. Art director Muthuraj did everything possible in the budget to make things look good.

Analysis & Verdict:

This is a poor result from director Chimbu Devan. The trailer raised expectations in all but the movie is not even just half of it. Screenplay is bad so as the script & direction. For this kind of movie VFX should be more rich in quality.

However this is just a onetime watch movie that to if you like Vijay.
