Kalyan Ram's Sher Movie Review

Hero kalian Ram who is riding high on success of “Pataas”, this time came with “Sher”. Mallikarjun an old friend of kalyan Ram directed the movie. He also directed him in “Om” and “Kathi” both were disasters, let’s see how this movie is.

Story:-

This is a simple commercial movie with all the mass elements. The story is quite simple with Villain hero Tom and jerry show. Gautham (Kalyan Ram) is a guy who will do anything for his sake of family. In this process he locked his horns with a goon named Puppy (Vikram Jeeth). Gautham disturb Puppy by inturptting his marriage.

Which leads puppy to start hunting Gautham’s dear ones. What happens then is rest of the story.

Positive Points:-

Hero Kalyan Ram did a superb job in tis flick. He looks very stylish and more matured in his acting. He also did a job in dancing. Director showed him in a very stylish way.

Comedian Brahmanandam is also good his character has been used to the maximum level. Fights were choreographed well by Ram Laxman.

Movie was good in bits, like the first 20 minutes and the interval bang, last 10 mins in climax and also the betting scene.

Negative Points:-

Same old revenge drama which we have encountered in many old movies.  The movie also lacks the required sentiments. Kalyan Ram’s family and the flashback didn’t handled well which lacks logic.

Some sense were draggy and predictable. There is no wow factor in the flick, its just same old commercial flick with loads of commercial elements.

Technical Aspects:-

Everything in this department is ok except the screenplay. The screenplay is pretty weak and became predictable as the movie goes on. First half was dealt well by director Mallikarjuna  but he lose grip in the second half.

Music by Thaman is ok so as the background music. Editing is ok and also the cinematography.

Verdict:-

Overall a good one time watch movie, but you will feel like something is missing. As we said there is now wow factor and you will just feel like a old script in a new book.
