Avunu 2 Movie Review

Ravi Babu is a director with different approach & ideology. While many directors are choosing the way of mass movies with big heroes, Ravi Babu is going in a different path. His movies mainly casts new faces. Among his movies “Avunu” occupies a unique place. It’s screenplay & concept is different to our Telugu people. It succeeded to make the audience bite their nails. Now he is back with sequel “Avunu-2” which released today.

Content:

The story line is simple as it is a aequel. Mohini (Poorna) & Harsha(Harshavardhan) somehow escaped from the Ghost Captain Raju (Ravi Babu. They shifted from that old house to a new flat, but that doesn’t seem to be get rid of the spirit as it followed them there. So how the couple tried to escape is rest of the story

Performences:

All the characters in the movie did their jobs pretty well. Especially Poorna is good in her role. Her expressions in terrifying scenes are good & Natural. Harsha have nothing to do much but his acting is satisfactory. Nikhita has a important role in the movie & Sanjana also played a good role as Ghost buster. Ravi Babu is nice with his work. 

Technical Department:

Ravi Babu as director failed to repeat the magic of “Avunu”. His all hard work to scare us gone in vain. Music of movies is also blow par. Background score would have been better. Editing should be more crispier as there are many unnecessary noisy scenes. Cinematography is good as well as the art department.

Analysis & Verdict:

Nothing gone directors way  as the movie failed in every department. It lacks the excitement which is in 1^st part. Script is week. Actually, it is not easy to make sequel to a highly successful movie. It mainly needs a thrilling script & screenplay, but both are absent in the movie. 

It didn’t reach audiences expectations. Climax is the one place where you can enjoy a bit. 

It’s better to wait & watch in Small screen rather than going to theater.
