Ok Bangaram Movie Review

A.Mani Ratnam’s prestigious project & which is will be his comeback one “Ok Bangaram” released today. The movie has acquired a positive vibration from the day of its announcement. A.R. Rehman & Mani Ratnam’s combo has raised the bars. Dulquer Salman & Nitya Menon are the leading pair.

Let’s see what’s the movie got inside.

Story:

The story of the movie is quite simple & one liner. It just deals with the problems arises in live in relationship, which is being common in the today world. Two young ambitious youngsters Tara(Nitya) & Adhi(Salman) are working hard for their own careers. They are in plan to get settled in states. But they fell love with each other & started living together. As usual in everyone’s lives there will be a time when we have to decide & move on. The time has come for them to decide whether to continue their lives in the bond of marriage. So then what did they decides & how does the story ends is the rest.

Performences:

The leading pair is soul of the movie. Instead of acting they just lived in their characters. Throughout the movie we cannot see Salman or Nitya but just two persons who are living in a real life, that much convincingly they played their roles.

Other characters like Prakash Raj, Leela Samson & others did their job well & accordingly.

Technical  Dept:

First we should talk about Mani Ratnam, he proved why he was called the legend of romantic movies. He can convince you with his story telling that what is happening on the screen is just really happening. He was a one hell of a story teller.

Secondly we should appreciate the work of cinematographer P.C.Sree Ram. He did a class job. His camera skills just added the required polishing to the movie. He proved once again that he is a master cameraman. Music of the movie is a bit drawback. Neither the songs nor the background score works for the movie. What just happened to Rehman these days. Did he lost his charm.

Verdict & Analysis:

The movie concept is well known to all the modern generation youngsters, but they doesn’t know the problems arises in them. Mani Ratnam just showed exactly what are they.

It is a completely Mani Ratnam style movie & youth will enjoy to the maximum. So Mani Ratnam is back on his track & Hope he continue this in the coming years.
