The most
talked small budget movie in recent days is “Kshanam”. Adivi sesh has
penned the script as well as played the lead role in it. With Mahesh Babu
opening the trailer, this movie got the required publicity it needed. Jabardast
Anasuya played a serious cop in the movie while Adah Sharma played the female
lead.
Story:
Rishi (Adivi
Sesh) and Swetha (Adah Sharma) are teenage lovers. As time passed by, they
settled in their respective lives. Rishi became a investment banker in USA.
One day
Rishi got a call from Swetha asking him for help. When Rishi met Swetha he was
shocked to know that Swetha’s daughter was kidnapped. He approached for police
help but they didn’t respond.
So he decides
to search for himself, in this process he faces many problems and came to know
about many secrets.
How does
Rishi managed to solve the case & where does Anasuya fits in the movie is
rest of the story.
Positive
Points:
Adivi Sesh
penned the script and acted in it. In both the department he was outstanding.
Talking about his acting skills in the movie, he was just amazing right from
the beginning to the end. He portrayed a nice expression on his face and did a
spending job in emotional scenes.
Adah Sharma
also did her part in an ease. Anasuya played a angry young police officer in
which she proved that she can act well in any character. Other characters like
Satyam Rajesh, Ravi verma and vennela Kishore did their oart well, especially
Satyam Rajesh did a impressive job.
Coming to
the movie, it is quite gripping right from the beginning to the end. Thrills
and twists were well executed. Post interval movie gets racy and climax is
good.
Negative
Points:
These kinds
of movies are to be appreciated as they breaks the regular league of commercial
movies. But there are some flaws in the movie which to be discussed & there
are some dragged scenes near climax. First half is bit boring in the beginning.
A song in the second half acts like a halt to the screenplay.
Technical
Department:
Music given
by Sricharan Pakala is very nice, his background score is good. Production
values are nice and credit should be given to PVP as they made a quality movie
in such a small budget.
Shaniel
deo’s camera work is nice and it elevated every scene. Coming to the director
Ravikantha Perupu, he did a wonderful job. He stick to be script and didn’t go
for any unnecessary commercial elements.
Verdict:
Kshanam is a
racy and thrilling experience. Lead actors brilliant performance and screenplay
will make you move to the edge of your seat. Tollywood need more these kind of
movies. It is a must watch movie.
