Sundeep Kishan
is a familiar young hero, on roll with back to back films. He is now before the
audiences with his new film, “Beeruva”. Let us see how the film is.
Story:
Sandeep plays
the role of a rich spoilt brat Sanju, who irritates his father (Naresh) always.
Suddenly one day Sanju’s dad faces a critical problem for which he takes the
help of a dreaded goon, Aadikesavulu (Mukesh Rishi). Everything seems to go
fine when Sanju elopes with Swathi (Surabhi), the daughter of Aadikesavulu.
Aadikesavulu starts chasing Sanju and
his dad. How is Sanju connected to all the confusion…..???? Will he escape
Aadikesavulu…???? What is the purpose of Beeruva in all this…???? To find
answers for all the questions, go watch the movie….!!!!!
Positive Points:
The comedy
scenes involving Naresh, Shakalaka Shankar and Saptagiri are the major plus
points of the film. Once again, Naresh shows that no one can beat him in
comedy. Saptagiri entertains in the second half and Shakalaka Shankar creates
laughter with his slang.
Sandeep Kishan
has given a decent performance. He has improved a lot as an actor as well as
dancer. Surabhi, a debutant, definitely fits the Tollywood cinema. She has
given a good performance and has a long way to go. Mukesh Rishi and Anitha
Chowdary did well in their supporting roles. Tanisha impresses the masses with
her glamour. The camera work of Chota K Naidu is decent and all the visuals
have been showcased beautifully. The film has well made rich production values.
Negative Points:
The makers
tried to get along the story involving Beeruva, which did not help much
actually. It does not create any curiosity nor is the narrator. After some
scenes, the film becomes quite predictable without much excitement. Many scenes
were added to the film, which are unnecessary, just to add production values.
The fight in
the beginning of the second half is totally not necessary and could have been
chopped off. Runtime should have been crispier and the climax should not have
been dragged so much.
Technical Points:
The camera
work is amazing as mentioned previously. Though it is a low budget film, the
production values have given it a rich look. Thaman’s music suits the narration
and is decent. Editing could have been better with some scenes chopped off in
the second half. Director Kanmani’s narration loses novelty as the film is
routine and boring. The dialogues suit the script of the movie.
Verdict:
“Beeruva” is
good in bits and pieces. It is a bit routine but with good comedy sequences.
Sandeep Kishan and Naresh are the major assets of the film. But the lack of
logic and novelty makes the film another routine one. You can watch the film if
you do not find any other alternative……..!!!!
