Nithin is on
cloud nine with the back to back hits. Now he is before us once again with a
romantic entertainer “Chinnadana Ne Kosam” which hit the silver screens today.
Karunakaran directed the film and Mishti Chakraborthy played the female lead.
Let us see how the film is.
Story: Nithin plays
the role of a handsome young guy, who falls in love with Nandini (Mishti). He
follows her and they become good friends in due course. Nandini gives him a big
shock and leaves to Europe, her home place, just when Nithin’s family is about
to accept their love.
What will the
young guy do now??? Why did Nandini ditch him??? Will he be able to win his
love back??? Watch the film to find answers!!!
Positive Points: Nithin is
back with his all time romantic looks and attitude. He is the major plus point
for the film and he excels in all the departments. His dancing is awesome as
usual and he has show casted good emotions in the second half. Mishti has a
good film as debut and she has performed her vital role in a really convincing
manner. She looks beautiful in western and Indian wear as well.
The first
half entertains with good amounts of comedy. The songs, scenes and comedy have
been designed exceptionally well. The film has a crisp duration and gives a
feel that the film is simple and neat. Naresh and Nasser have done justice to
their roles.
Negative Points: The second
half is not as entertaining as the first half. The first 20 minutes especially
is boring with outdated comedy. The gay episode irritates the viewers. The
concept and the entry of hero in the second half lack proper logic. Ali’s
comedy track fails to entertain.
Climax is
another big drawback and all the scenes leading to the climax are rushed up.
The film is ordinary like every other love story and becomes quite predictable
once the twist is revealed.
Verdict: Once again
it is proved that love stories are apt for Nithin. Music, entertaining first
half and Nithin’s performance are the major plus points for the film. On the
other side, the film lacks emotions and the second half is rather boring. If
you don’t mind watching routine love stories and are craving for something
entertaining, the film is for you.
