Rojulu Marayi Movie Review

Director Maruthi is known for small movies and youthful entertainers. His recent production venture “Rojulu Marayi” released today. Let’s see how the movie is.

Story:

This is of two girls named Rambha (Tejaswani) and Adhya (Kruthika). They are very cunning and modern. They trapped two innocent boys Peter(Parvateesam) and Aswad (Chetan) for their entertainment and daily expenses. Not knowing their plan both Peter and Aswad fell for them.

However beside this love track, both Rambha and Adhya have individual lovers and they want to get married with them and have a settled life. But twist in the flick arises when both the girls came to know from a swamy ji that, their husband will die as soon they get married.  So get they planned to marry Peter and Aswad , so they after their death they can lead a happy life with their loved one’s.

So what happens next, does Peter and Aswad died, to know that go to theater.

Positive Points:

The major plus point in the movie is its first half. First half of the movie is very funny and realistic. All the lead actors did their part well; especially Parvateesam and Tejaswi showcased a brilliant performance. It was their acting which has bought nice flavor to the proceedings. Other two also did their part well. The film has some hilarious comedy during the first half. Maruthi’s trade mark double meaning dialogues will also work well with all the B and C centers.

Negative Points:

While first half is backbone of the movie second half is weak point of the movie. After a good first half, the movie falls for the regular proceedings in the second half. The script loses its fun and goes in to copied version of many horror movies.

Another minus is, that in the first half complete story was revealed, so there is nothing to be surprised in the second half.

Technical Dept:

Even though a small budget movie, production values are very nice. Dialogs are good and funny. Music by JB is nice and so as his background scores. Maruthi has given the screenplay, his work is -50-50 as first half is good and second half is very bad.

Coming to the director Murali, he did a nice job, However his work was spoiled by bad screenplay and script in the second half.

Verdict:

This movie Rojulu Marai is a different movie, While many movies are showing the harassment on women, this movie will till that even men can be harassed by cunning women.

A better second half and climax would have done magic for the flick.
