Kabali Telugu Movie Review

The most hiked and most published movie of the year, “Kabali” finally released in theaters, admist huge expectations. Fans are going crazy on the movie and they waited very long for it. Let’s see how the movie is.

Story:-

This story is quite simple as it is a revenge drama. Kabaleswaram (Rajinikanth) is a resident of Malaysia. There he started fighting for the Indians, who were being harassed by a local don named Tony lee (Winston Chee). However tony planned and sends kabali to prison for 25 years.

After coming out from prison, he seeks revenge on Tony who has taken his place and also killed his wife   Kumudhavali (Radhka Apte).  Released from kabali slowly started his mission of revenge and in that process he find out that his wife kumudhavali is alive.

Now what happens next, how does he take back his place is to be seen on the screen.

Positive Points:-

As usual the first plus point in the movie is none other than Super Star Rajinikanth. It is his charims and style, that filled the movie with awesomeness. He carried the whole movie on his shoulders and made sure that his fans were not upset.

Rashika Apte also did a wounderful job as she played her role to the maximum perfect. Comig to the movie first half of the movie is good. The flash back episode is very nice as Rajini’s younger look will make his fans go crazy. Sentiment also worked well in the movie.

Negative Points:-

Keeping aside Rajinikanth’s fame, the movie is just a simple revenge drama, but in a litte Rajinikanth style. The slow narration of the movie will test your patience. First half is good, but second half is just average. Pa Ranjith has not gone for too much, as he targeted normal audience, which will upset Rajini fans, as they expect some powerful and extra ordinary characterization.

The movie is low on entertainment which will not go well with some section of audience.

Technical Department:

As it is a huge budget movie, production values are way more than good. Music by Santosh narayana is average, only one song ‘Nippu ra” is good.  Background score is nice and elevates the movie. Cinematography by murali is refreshing. Editing should be more sharp as there are many scenes that should be trimmed.

Coming to the director Pa. Ranjith, he tried to keep the movie as simple as possible. This time he targeted normal audience and in that case he was successful. But he failed to impress Rajini fans to the maximum. There is lot of scope for action and comedy which he missed.

Verdict:-

This is a onetime watch movie,  as the expectations are high many will dislike the movie’s output. But this is first time where we will see more of Rajini’s action than style and unnecessary action.
