In search of
a hit, Sundeep kishan is trying his best and in that process, his “Oka Ammayi
Tappa” released today worldwide. Sundeep kishan pinned huge hopes on the
movie, let’s see how is it.
Story:
Krishna
Vachan(Sundeep kishan), loves his childhood friend Mango (Nitya Menon), he set
on her search and got stuck in a fly over traffic. There he comes across Mango
and started flirting her, not knowing that she is his childhood love.
Twist arises
here when he gets an anonymous call (Ravi Kishan), telling him to ignite the
bomb, or he will kill his love. Now how does Krishna deals with this dreaded
villain and saves his love along with the other people is rest of the story.
Positive Points:
The main
plus point is the concept, it is pretty new to the film industry and it carries
a suspense element throughout the movie. Sundeep kishan showed a huge maturity
in his acting, he developed a lot and carried the movie on his shoulders. Nitya
menon is good in her role.
Twits and
climax are good, will give you a new experience. Second half holds the main
story and proceedings will speed up post interval. Scenes between Sundep and
Ravi Kishan are good and well written.
Negative Points:
While the
story is good, screenplay is bad. It lacks the thrill and a thrilling
experience. Story also lacks clarity in many places. Comedy failed terribly in
the movie and so as the emotional scenes.
First half
is a terrible failure as it lacks clarity and destination. The real story starts
in the second half. Nitya menon also has nothing special to do, her role is a
complete waste.
Technical
Dept:
Chota K
naidu’s camera work is to be talked first. It was his brilliance which covers
many loop holes in the flick, especially the CGI works are very poor, but was
managed well by camera work.
Music is not
much attractive and so as the background score. Editing is also below par in
the movie.
Direction
and screenplay by Rajasimha is average, he spoiled a nice script with lack of
experience. A good screenplay and come comedy would have done wonders for the
movie.
Verdict:
This movie
is a nice approach and a good trail with a new concept, but failed to impress
as it lacks the x factor. There are many places where comedy and romance can be
added but director wasted those opportunities.
Finally a onetime
watch movie, with better screenplay and comedy this would be better.
