Nani Gentleman Movie Review

Hero Nani is always the one of those kind who look for different kind of movies, rather than goes for commercial flicks. Keeping up his reputation he came up with his new movie “Gentleman” and suspense thriller movie. It released today worldwide.

Story:

The story starts with two girls Catherene (Nivedha Thomos) and Aishwarya (Surabhi) discussing their own love stories in their journey. When the journey ends both the ladies departs to their respective home. Here Catherine found that her love Gautham (Nani) is dead. However twist arises when a journalist inform Catherene that Gautham was murdered she gets shocked and started her investigation to find the killer. In this process she find out that Aishwarya’s would be Jai (Nani) looks like gautham.

She follows him and at a point she confirms that Jai is the killer who killed Gautham. What were the circumstances that leads to jai. What happens next. Who is the real killer, what is the truth behind the dual role. All these are to be seen in Theater.

Positive Points:

Different script by the director is the first plus point of the movie. Then Hero Nani is the major plus. First of all nani agreed to a script, where a female lead has a centre scope and the story runs on her. He did his acting to the best of his ability and proved that he is getting better and better with time. It is his best till date.

Heroine Nivedha Thomas did a excellent job, her acting in the movie is excellent and she also looked very beautiful. Surabhi looks very cute and beautiful. She also did a good job.

Second half of the movie is good, as it has the real story in it. Interval bang is awesome and will pick up the movie to whole new level. All the twists revealed in a nice manner. Other supporting characters like Avasarala Srinivas is superb in his role.

Negative Points:

Run time of the movie is a bit long. These kind of thriller movies need a shorter length, without ant halts, but director took really more time in first half to introduce the characters and their love tracks. First half of the movie is the major drawback in editing.

In the climax the twist revealed part is bit boring and will not apt with the complete story line.

Technical Department:

In this department the credit goes to cameraman. It was his eye that made the movie interesting. Background music by Mani Sharma is the backbone of every scene. His music in songs is just average. Production values are also good. Coming to the editing part, it would have more sharper. First half really needs trimming and due to lack of that trimming it looks a bit boring.

Director Mohan Krishna did a nice job. He wrote a tight script and stick to the story, not going to any unnecessary commercial elements. He also revealed the twits  in the right time and maintained the suspense till end. He had a good future ahead.

Verdict:

Nani’s selection is appreciable as he agreed a movie where heroine has a key role. His performance is stupendous in the movie. First half of the movie is bit slow due to unnecessary scenes. Second half os good so as the interval bang.

A good editing and a nice climax would have taken the movie to another level.
