Among the
bunch of Nara Rohits movies coming this year, Savitri is second one. Nandita is playing the female role in the
movie.
Story:
Rishi (Nara
Rohit) and Savitri (nandita) parents fixed their marriage without their
concern. Savitri is a typical girl whose only dream from childhood is marrying
a nice young handsome man.
One fine day
Rishi met Savitri on his way to Shiridi, at once he fell in love with her and
started following her to impress. But Nandita goes on ignoring her. Back at
Rishi’s house he told that he is not interested in the girl they selected (not
knowing that she is Savitri) as he loved another girl.
So now how Rishi
does won Savitri’s love and how does the suspense unfolded at the end is to be
seen in the theater.
Positive Points:
Family
audience will mostly attracted to the movie as the whole cast is filled with
experienced actors which made the movie a nice family entertainer. Hero Nara
Rohit did his role with Honesty and improved a lot from past movies. His
expressions in emotional scenes were more realistic.
Besides all
these heroine Nandita walk away with most of the credits with her natural
performance. She will impress you a lot with her flawless acting.
Other cast
in the movie did their part well especially Fish Venkat & prabhas Srinu
tried their best to make us laugh.
Negative Points:
As we told
earlier this is age old script, even though director tried his best to portray
in a different way, he failed in many occasions. Many scenes in the will seem
unnecessary and will test your patience. Some characters introduced in the
second half will spoil the proceedings.
Fights were
also like halts for the movie as they are useless. Posani character was wasted
and it was logic less.
Technical Department:
The movie
was made in a real low budget but the values were more than awesome. Credit
should be given to production department. Camera work is juts ok and so as the
screenplay.
Music given
by Shravan is good and especially the background score is very nice apt for the
movie. Dialogs were good and sensible.
Coming to
the director pavan Sadineni, he made a impressive debut with Savitri. He
selected a age old script but tried his best to give a new treatment. He failed
in few places but succeed in parts. In all this is a good effort.
Verdict:
This is an
ok movie and a complete family package for all the family audience. It is a onetime watch movie.
