Soukhyam Movie Review

Gopi Chand is continuing his Telugu letter “O” sentiment in movies titles. All his movies ends with Telugu letter O were successful at box office. So this time also he did the same thing and made his title “Soukhyam”. This movie released today, let’s see does that sentiment helped him or not.

Story:

Story is very simple and a old one too. Seenu (Gopi Chand) is a happy going man without any major problems. Once while traveling in train he met Sailu (regina) and fell in love with her at once. After that as usual our hero starts wooing her. Just when she agrees his love, twist reveals and she was kidnapped by her own father.

Her father planned to get her married to a politician son. So now it is our heroes duty to save her. How did he save her and what is the problem for heroes parents as they asked him to stay away from her.

To know all these you have to spend a ticket fare.

Positive Points:

These kind of movies survive on only comedy and some fights. Thanks to director these things were well cooked in the script. Coming to our hero, Gopi Chand looks very handsome and he did a wonderful job. Now he is a full pledged hero as he got command on all departments of the movie. Regina also looks pretty as well as hot in the songs. She did a decent job.

Comedians Posani Krishna murali, 30 years pruthvi, Saptagiri, Brahmanandam did according to their limits.

Negative Points:

Whole movie idea is a big minus point. The script is very old and regular type. All the twists are predictable and so as the climax. It has became a habit in Telugu films to make spoofs with comedians. But here it looks cheap.

Love track is much dragged and family emotions will test your patience. Everything goes wrong in the movie with the screenplay.

Technical Department:

Except the music and direction every department does their work pretty well. Surprisingly Anup Rubens music is below average and so as the background score. Production values are good and the movie looks very rich. Editing is very bad as there are many sloppy scenes.

Direction by Ravi Kumar Choudary is below average, it never looked that he has grip on the script. Every scene is predictable and boring. Right from the staring to the ending movie lacks the wow factor.

Verdict:

So this time letter sentiment didn’t helped Gopi Chand. This movie is below average and will test your patience. But for Gopi Chand and comedy you can give it a chance.
