Surya Vs Surya Movie Review

Young actor Nikhil is now gaining success one by one with his movies. His earlier two movies ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ & ‘Karthikeya’ are successful at box office. His selection of movies are also different & so they are liked by audiences. Now he came up with a new movie called ‘Surya Vs Surya’.

Let’s see how it is.

Concept:

Story line is simple. Surya (Nikhil) is suffering from a genetic disorder. Because of that he cannot walk in sun, if he does so he will face many problems. So he can only come out at nights & he planned his life according to that. Then one day he met Sanjana (Tridha) who is an TV Anchor. He fell love with her as does she. But when she came to know about his disease she broke up with him. What happens next? How he get her love back is the rest.

Performance :

Nikhil is maturing in his acting movie after movie. His skills are developing & that can be seen in his role in this movie. His expressions in the movie are real & he lifted the character. Heroine Tridha is cute & beautiful. She did a decent job. Senior actors like Tanikella Bharani, Shiyaji Sheinde did their part with their brilliant acting experiences. All the others played their part & was appreciable.

Technical Dept:

Director did tried a new concept but failed to present it properly on screen.  Screenplay is week for this movie so as the narration. The movie is of a unique concept & very much depth in it. But the depth was not capitalized. So the movie became predictable throughout its run. Songs are average, background score is so so. Dialogs are good. Cinematography is good for the movie. Production values are good.

Verdict:

Overall the movie is average one. The director spoiled his own creation with dull screenplay. The main strength of the movie is its love story & that was not justified. The brilliant acting of Nikhil hold the movie to some extent. But that was not enough.

It’s a onetime watch movie. That to for Nikhil & unique concept.
