Jakkanna Telugu Movie Review

Waiting for a decent success, Hero Sunil came up an comedy action entertainer “Jakkanna”. This movie released worldwide today and let’s see how the movie goes on.

Story:

Hero Jakkanna (Sunil) is a man with a helping nature. He has a habit of returning favor one who did good to him. With this different attitude, he came to city where he encountered to a dreaded villain named Bairagi (kabir Singh),. Bairagi once helped Jakkanna in his childhood and now as a repay, Jakkanna started returning him favor by helping him.

But unfortunately, this helping creates problem to Bairagi and he decides to kill Jakkanna. What happens next, did Jakkana escaped Bairagi, and where does Manara Copra fits in this whole play is the part which you have to see in theater.

Positive Points:

The movies main plus point is comedy, besides Sunil’s comedy, Saptagiri and 30 years Prudhvi showed their talent to the best and stole the credit. Their performance kept the movie alive and people will love Saptagiri’s comedy to the most, after a long gap, Saptagiri got meaty role.

Sunil did his best; his hardwork can be seen on the screen. His comic timing is good and he did a excellent job in fights also. Villain Kabil Singh also got a nice role and he proved his mettle in that.  Heroine Manara Chopra has a good entry in Tollywood, with this movie, she looks glamorous and did her best in acting.

First half of the movie good, with all the fun element and People will love the interval bang.

Negative Points:

The comedy part of the movie may be good, but we cannot see a whole movie on only comedy, here in Jakkanna, the story line is very dull and confusing. Second half goes out of line and seems to be confusing. Villain’s character becomes meaningless after the entry of Hero.  Screenplay is not so good as many scenes were out of track.

Technical Points:

Music given by Dinesh, is average as no song got appreciation, background score is also average. Movie got some rich values, thanks to the production team. Comedy dialogs and other dialogs were well written and they are witty.

Director Vamsi Krishna came up with a regular entertainer as we have seen this kind of movies number of times, he should have taken care in treating the movie in different way. First half was nice but he spoiled the second half.

Verdict:

This is one time watch movie; comedy lovers will find a nice time pass one. But content lovers will dislike it. But among past few movies, Sunil’s this movie is a bit better. One can watch it for entertainment. Saptagiri and Prudhvi are at their best in this movie.

A good second half would have made the movie a better one to watch.
