Babu Bangaram Telugu Movie Review

With much hike and expectations, Victory Venkatesh’s “Babu Bangaram” released today worldwide. Venkatesh fans are very much eager to see their hero in his real character. So let’s see how the movie is.

Story:

Krishna (Venkatesh) is Asst commissioner of police and he is search of a criminal (Murali Sharma) who has escaped from custody. Besides, all these Krishna, followed a lovely girl (nayanatara) and fell in love with her. When she is just realizing Krishna’s love, she found that Krishna loves her just to catch the escaped criminal, who is her father.

Knowing this she departed from Krishna, this leaves Krishna with one choice, and that to find the real convict and restore justice to Nayantara’s father.

Rest of the story is how Krishna managed to do all these.

Positive Points:

No doubt, that Venkatesh is the only and main attraction of the movie. He looks younger and handsome then his previous movies. His body language and comic timing will make you remember the old Venkatesh. Nayantara on the other hand, did a fantastic job. She looks very sleek and beautiful. It seems that her beauty has increased with age.

Leading pair’s chemistry also worked well, as they have two movies experience together. Second plus point of the movie is comedy in regular intervals. 30 years Prudhvi again got a good role and did a good job in it. First half, Interval and Climax are major plus points in the movie.

Negative Points:

Regular script is the major minus point. We have seen these kind of movies often in telugu industry. So people will not feel any thrill in the story as all the twists are very much predictable. While the first half is full of comedy, second half is a serious one. However that was managed in Climax with hillairious comedy of venkatesh.

Brahmanamdam comedy didn’t worked well this time and his role was a complete wastage.

Technical Aspects:

Editing is just average and music by Ghibran is also above average. However his background score is perfectly apt for the movie. Screenplay by Maruthi is good, it was the screenplay which made the movie interesting, being a routine script. Production values are at top notch.

Direction by Maruthi is somewhat good. He failed at some places, but he was successful to get the complete output from Venaktesh. He showed the senior actor in a very different way. Fans will love this factor much In Maruthi.

Verdict:

Comedy lovers and time pass movie, lovers will enjoy the movie most. But content lovers and who have expected something more from the flick will get disappointed. First half comedy and climax were very good in the movie.
