Among
Shankranthi releases “Express Raja” is acquired a special preference
because among three big movies this is the only small movie releasing.
Sarwanand and director Merlapaka Gandhi combination bought you this comedy
entertainer.
Story:
Story is quite simple Raja (Sarwanand) is
happy going reckless boy. He never cares for his father’s reputation who was a
great social reformer. He accompanied with his cousin Srinu spends time in
drinking and causing troubles to others.
Meanwhile
Raja fell in love with Ammu (Surabhi). For impressing her he kidnapped a dog
and present it to Ammu. But here comes the twist, the dog he kidnapped is very
special to a goon, and then slowly new characters enters the movie and make it
a racy chase.
Who are
those chasing hero for dog and how did hero get rid of all these is to be seen
in the movie.
Positive
Point :
The movies
main plus point is loads of entertainment. Hero Sarwanand is as usual at his
best. His comic timing is at its best.
Heroine Surabhi transformed herself in to a glamour doll from a family
zone girl. She also proved herself in acting. Comedians Saptagiri and Srinu
compete with each other and they both holds the backbone of whole movie.
Movies first
half is decent while the second half is racy and filled with lots of fun.
Negative Points:
The movie is
a pakka entertaining one, so there are possibilities to overlook some logics.
There are some illogical scenes in the movie. Which will kill interest to some
extent.
The main
leads love track has been kept aside after few scenes. The movie took side
track after the twist and the main track was overlooked.
Technical
Aspects:
In this
department director merlapaka Gandhi is the one who stole the whole credit. His
screenplay and direction was so good ad racy that audience will never feel bore
throughout the movie. U V Creations supported well to the director and helped
him to movie a quality product.
Music by
Praven Lakkaraju is decent and his background also apt to the scenes.
Verdict:
As expected
Express Raja is a complete entertainer and a pakka paisa vasool movie. First
half of the movie is ok with witty dialogs while the second half is racy with
lots of entertainment.
It’s a must
watch movie in holiday time.
