Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu Movie Review

Our Hat trick hero Raj Tarun came up with his fourth movie. This movie resembles to his first movie “Uyyala Jampala” as it also has the village back drop. New girl Arthana binu paired up with him.

Story:

Story of this is movie quite simple and old one. Hero Sri Ram (Raj Tarun) is a happy going careless boy, who didn’t even complete his intermediate studies, but he loves deeply Sitamahalaxmi (Athana) from his childhood. The only goal of his life is to marry her.

Sita left the village for higher studies and only comes during her holidays. So Ram tries his best during this time and succeeds to gain her love.

But as usual Sita’s father doesn’t like this as he wants to marry her daughter to a well educated and rich person. So to break their pair he places a challenge to Ram. So the rest of the story id how Ram wins the bet as well as his love sita.

Positive Points:

Raj Tarun is the main plus for the movie. His past success and is popularity will help the movie to gain openings. Coming to his performance, he is a natural star and his acting is flawless in this movie. We can say that he is improving movie after movie. His acting in sentiment scene is very natural. His cominc timing is also good.

Heroine Arthana did a nice job, she looks very pretty in traditional attire. She also performed will in the flick. Other stars also played their part well, especially comedian Shakalaka Shankar provided the required laugh in the movie.

First half is filled with lead pairs love track and second half is how he wins his love. Director succeed to maintain the fun in both the halves.

Negative Point:

As we told earlier the script is known and old one. There is nothing new in the movie  nor it have any twist. Complete movie is predictable and you will not have any interest with the proceedings.

Another minus is the betting part, it is a bit awkward that hero wins heroine over a cricket bet. Except hero all other characters are not written well. There is not much emotion between the lead pair.

Technical Dept:

In this department music composer Gopi Sunder will get full credit. His music is good, but his background music is awesome. It was due to his background score every love scene elevated to the best.

Production values are good, cinematography is nice, Viswa’s eye captuted the village backdrop in a nice way which provided the required feel of a village. Editing is below par as there are many boring scenes.

Coming to the director Srinivas Gavireddy, he did a nice job but failed to show something new in the script. His base line is good, but he failed to prepare a strong content around the love story. He succeed to put considerable amount of comedy in the movie, but only cannot carry the whole movie.

Verdict:

This movie was not good as his previous movies, but it is a feel good movie, Raj Tarun’s acting and the cute love story between the lead pair will attract audience. It is a onetime movie. First half of the flick is good with cute love story while the second half is hurried one with struggle of hero to win his sita.
