Jr Ntr Nannaku Prematho Movie Review

Most awaited movie of this year “Nannaku Prematho” released today. NTR’s different look and classic trailer raised expectations on the flick.

Story:

Abhiram (NTR) is a raising businessman in London. He loves his father (Rajendra prasad) very much. He rushed to meet when he came to know about his father’s pancreases cancer which was in last stage.

During this time Rajendra Prasad revealed his last wish, which is to defeat Krishnamurthy (Jagapathi Babu) a multi billionaire in London.  His father revealed that it was Krishnamurthy who cheated him and took his property.

Now the remaining thing is how Abhiram get his dads last wish fulfilled and what does Rakul Preet singh do in this whole plot is rest of the story.

Positive Points:

It can be clearly seen that NTR is the main pillar of the whole movie. His acting in this movie is beyond expectations. We have never experienced this side of NTR in any of his previous movies. His acting especially in emotional scenes is just brilliant.

NTR usually does mass entertainers, but with this movie he proved that he can do stylish and emotional movies way better than mass movies.

Rakul Preet singh on other hand supported NTR well. She looks ultra glamorous in the flick and also proved her acting skills. The second main pillar of the movie is Jagapathi Babu. His brilliance in acting made the movie a balanced one. His character in the movie is equal to NTR’s character.

Rajendra Prasad also holds the main character of NTR’s father and did a superb job as usual. Other actors did their part equally well.

Another plus point in the flick is the screenplay and the classic revenge drama between NTR & Jagapathi babu. The mind games in the movie are shot well and also displayed well.

Negative Points:

The main minus point is the script itself, it doesn’t means that the script is bad, or average, but it is not the one fans expected from a mass hero like NTR. Fans wants to see NTR more in mass entertainers with many breath taking fights and rib trickling comedy, but here both the elements are missing.

The script lacks comedy and fights. Due to which it looks a bit slow in narration. Other than that everything is perfect.

Technical Department:

Music is the first thing comes in mind when we talk about Sukumar movies, because he always prefers Devi Sri Prasad and their combination is always magical. But in this movie that magic only worked for one song “Follow follow” all the other songs are just situational.

Songs taking is also average. Dialogs were written well as they will touch your heart. Location and quality of the movie is awesome. Coming to the direction Sukumar did a classic job. His script work is very good; we can see his hardwork in the movie. He just stick to his main content, and didn’t gone for any unnecessary commercial elements.

Editing is bit average as there are some scenes which would be trimmed off and decrease the run time.

Verdict:

Finally it is not a NTR movie but it is a pakka Sukumar style movie. However those who like a change from regular commercial movie, then this is a kind of movie they can watch. It may lacks the regular masala elements but it is a perfect quality picture.

This is a must watch movie.
