Ekkadikipotave Chinnadana Movie Review

Among all the youngsters Nikhil is the one who is getting hits with different scripts. His movies are  more of thriller type. His latest outcome is “Ekkadikipotave Chinnadana”. Lets see the how the movie is .

Story:

Arjun(Nikhil) is a happy going boy, who works as a visual effect supervisor. He also has a bad past where he lost his love. One day he met Nithya(Hebah Patel) while he took his friend (Vennela Kishore) to a ghost buster as he was posed by a ghost. At once he feel or her.

While everything seems to be fine, Arjun came to knew that his new love Nithya is also possed by a spirit. Adding more to the trouble Amala(Nanditha Swetha) came to the frame as a ghost and she is the reason behind all these things.

Now who is this Amala, what is her relation with Arjun, where does Nithya fits in the story. All these questions will be answered in theater.

Positive Points:

The freshness of the script is a new thing, which audience will enjoy the most. The concept of ghost loving a man is a new thing. Nikhil’s acting is very much apt to this story and he is improving a lot with movie. New heroine Nandita did extremely well and did her best to get in to the character. First half is nice and interval bang is mind blowing.

In the second half director increased the dose of comedy,Vennela kishore and Satya played their part well. Hebah Patel is decent in her role. The film has some very good moments throughout and the second half is filled with some decent moments with the entry of a special heroine and her love track.

Negative Points:

The movie has some extra unnecessary scenes which spoiled the thrill. Few scenes to be edited for a better screenplay. In some parts comedy will irritate you and lags the movie proceedings. Songs are not so catchy and also not very well shot.

Technical Dept:

The Movie Visuals Are Superb And The Decent Camera Work Has Enhances The Values. The Art Department Should Be Credited For Doing A Good Job. Music By Shekhar Chanda Should Have Been A Lot Better As There Was A Lot Of Scope For It. But His Background Score Is Impressive And Helps The Proceedings. Dialogs were also very impressive.

Coming to the director Anand, he has done a nice job with the film. His story line is interesting and he also wrote catchy screenplay. Had he narrated the Kerala episode in a more entertaining way and reduced the run time, the impact would have been a lot better.

Verdict:

This is a must watch movie, it is a pain killer for those are looking for a nice movie. Though this movie has some drawback, one can give a try as, there are more positives than negative. If you ignore some boring moments during the initial part of the first half, this film makes up for a decent watch this weekend.
