Tripura Movie Review

Horror comedy is todays trend almost all the movies, which releases in the concept of Horror comedy well received by audience. Now another movie “Tripura” in the same zone has released and it is a sequel of earlier super hit movie “Geetanjali”.

Story:

Story revolves around a simple village girl Tripura (Swathi). She is leading a simple life in the village, but she always have some weird dreams and those dreams comes true in the real life.

Meanwhile Naveen Chandra (Naveen chadra) is doctor who dreams about a beautiful simple wife, he fell in love with Tripura when he saw her in the village. They got married and shifted to a new house in the city, then the real story starts and weird things happen around them.

What happens next is to be seen in the theater.

Performances:

Swathi plays the lead role and she does it quite easily, she also put on some weight but that suits her character of a wife perfectly. Her two shades of acting, one in simple girl and other in horror scenes is also good.

Naveen Chandra supported her well, their chemistry is one to watch. Comedians Saptyagiri , Shakalala Shankar, J P and others did their part well especially Saptagiri gets a meaty role and he definitely got talent. Other roles played the Rao Ramesh and cop character came out well.

Technical Department:

Direction department was held by Raj kiran and he did half good and half bad. His script was nice but he failed to impress with the screenplay.

He did added some extra elements in the movie but that didn’t helped much. Music in the movie is not up to the mark. Back ground is also very sloppy. Camera work is good but the editing is below average.

Analysis and Verdict:

First half of the movie is filled with comedy and love track, people will enjoy Saptagiri’s comedy and village atmosphere. Songs were drawback of the movie. Second half gets spooky with horror scenes, suspense is maintained still the end and also executed well.

It is a onetime watch movie.
