Srimanthudu Movie Review

Finally the most awaited movie after Bahubali is now in theaters. It is Super Star Mahesh babu’s time to show his power at box office. He is very cautious this time as he is also a part of production team.  However, it is not for which he is cautious but he is in desperate trail to end his failure streak.

Story:

Harsha (Mahesh Babu) is a son of billionaire Ravikanth (Jagapathi Babu), who likes to lead a simple life. In his simple life he one day met Charusheela (Sruthi haasan) & slowly fall with her. But to his surprise she rejects the proposal as she want to fulfill her dream of developing her village.

Now Harsha sets his own mission to help his born village & save them from torture of Sasi (Sampath). What happens next is to be seen in the movie.

Performances:

First things first, this is completely a Mahesh Babu movie. He is the heart & soul of the script. We cannot point any flaw in his acting as he is much senior & did many award winning movies. But this movie is something different se he tried a new body language & get ups. He also looks very young & refreshing in this movie.

Heroine Sruthi Haasan is more glamorous & cute in this flick. Her acting is also a competing one for Mahesh  babu.  Jagapathi Babu as Mahesh babu’s father is at his best. He is just spectacular in his part. Others like Villain Sampat Raj are good at their part & played according to the directors directions.

Technical Dept:

This is the main part of the movie as this movie is technically superb. From music, direction & cinematography everything came together in right portions for this flick. Talking about the director, Koratala Shiva just amazing in his direction part, he also delt with Screenplay & Story, in his every dept he just nailed it. Pre climax scene & dialogs are superb. This a whole new concept & his dealing with it is quite nice.

Coming to the next Highlight part, which is music of the movie. Devi Sri Prasad just repeated the Mirchi Magic here. In that movie his songs & back ground score are  in high notch, like wise in this movie also he gave some amazing songs & gripping background score.

Cinematography, editing, art designing are also good.

Verdict & Analysis:

Whole movie depends on the social message & that is what elevated to the most. First half of the movie is quite simple & classy. While second half of the movie is completely filed with sentiment scenes. As it is a message oriented movie it is a bit predictable.  Overall it is a complete family entertainer with beautiful message.

Our society needs these kind of movies more.
