Most awaited dubbed movie Surya’s “Rakshashudu” released
today. The movie has great expectations & that is because of its trailer.
In the trailer some ghost scenes are shown which are very rare in a big hero
movie. Venkat Prabhu who is very talented in handling suspense movies directed
this flick. Nayantara played female lead for the movie. Surya played duel role.
Story:
From the trailer itself we can imagine that it is a
different kind story & of course when Surya is there then we can expect
some new theme. In the movie Surya is a small conman who cheats people for
survival , but he was been irritated by three Ghosts. These ghosts are only
seen by Surya where as people around him cannot see them. Who are those Ghosts?
Why are they irritating Surya? What happens next? Are the facts that to be seen
in theater.
Performances:
The movie is a one man show & that is Surya who forms
the centre of the story. His performance as Conman & a Tamil Eelam were
just superb. His mass acting in conman role connected to the audience well. His
slang is also different & well connected to the audiences. Coming to the
female leads Nayantara & Pranitha did their part well. All the other
artists have fulfilled their roles as needed.
Positive Points:
Surya acting
Ghost comedy
Twists
Negative Points:
Music
Technical Dept:
Music is not up to the mark. The magic of Yuvan Shankar Raja
failed this time. Once Surya & Yuvan combination was a popular one but this
time that did not happen. Direction department was handled well &
especially screenplay was superb as the twists & turns are quite
refreshing. Comedy between Ghosts & Hero are very funny & makes you
fall from your seats. Graphics works are bit of low in Quality. The suspense of
the movie was maintained all over to the end.
Verdict:
A very good movie worth watch many times. Complete paisa
vasool movie for this summer.
