Thikka Telugu Movie Review

Sai Dharam Tej is on winning streak with “Supreme” and with an intention to continue that, he came up with “Tikka”. Tikka got lots of hike, thanks to that “Cheppanu Brother” statement and “Aapalenu Brother”. However “Tikka” released today worldwide today, let’s see how the movie is.

Story:

Aditya (Sai Dharam Tej) is working as software engineer in a big office. He fell in love with Anjali (Larissa Bonessi). After few lovable days, they got separated for some reasons. Deeply hurt with the breakup Aditya arranged a break up party with his friends.

Now here the real story starts, due to consumption of excessive alcohol, Aditya got in to many problems. Without knowing he got problems from a dreaded goon , A prostitute, and heroine dad. Now rest of the story is how he get rid from all these problems and win back his love.

Positive Points:

Sai Dharam Tej is the main plus point in the movie. His acting and comic timing hold the movie to some extent. His acting as alcoholic is great and evoked some comedy. Comedians like fish venkat and Ajay evoked some comedy, but comedian Satya got a nice role in the flick.

Second half is slightly better than the first half, thanks to the climax confusion comedy. Heroine Larissa Bonessi looked nice and did her best in that small role.

Negative Points:

The movie is filled with many minus points, staring from the writing and executing, everything in the movie fell apart. Comedy didn’t gone well, hero’s characterization went on wrong and especially Rajendra Prasad’s role is a complete wastage. He shouldn’t have been agreed to this kind of movie.

First half is a complete patience testing one, nothing seems to be right here, the noisy comedy also evoked headache to audience. Hero and Heroine chemistry also didn’t worked well.

Technical Aspects:

Thaman S S should stop composing music as he is one of his album these days, except “Sarainodu” clicked well with audience. In this movie, his music is the biggest flop. None of the song gone well and none of them are worthy to remember. Songs making is also very bad so as their placements in the movie. Production values are good. Screenplay is below par. Dialogs are just ok and also the editing.

Direction by Sunil Reedy is a complete let down. He just spoiled the basic thing in a confusion comedy. His writing of script and executing has gone haywire.

Verdict:

Finally speaking, “Tikka” is a very much letting down movie. Sai Dharam tej should forget the movie as soon as possible and get on with other movies. Rajendra Prasad should keep his reputation, and should not go for these kind of movies. This is not a worthy movie to watch but for Sai Dharam tej one can give a try.
