In the last
year our Tollywood movies created tsunami of collections in overseas market.
Distributors who purchased the movies were very happy as they ended up with
huge profits. But early 2016 left them with losses.
Three big movies released in the likes of
Sardar Gabbar singh, Sarainodu and Brahmostavam. All the three movies failed to
impress in overseas. Sarainodu may have collected 100crs gross and stood as
Bunny’s biggest hit but it failed in overseas. Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan
have more than 2 million market there but they struggled to reach 1 million.
With these three bad results, distributors are eagerly waiting for a
blockbuster.
