Rgv's Attack Movie Review

After a long gap and some unknown problems Ram Gopal Verma’s “Attack” hit the screens today. Manchu Manoj, Vadde naveen, prakash Raj, & Surabhi played key roles in the flick. Now let’s see how the flick goes.

Story:

This story is a usual revenge drama but with bit more bloodshed in Ram gopal Verma’s style. Guru Raj (prakash Raj) is a big businessman, he was killed by some unknown group, So to take revenge his elder son Kali (jagapathi Babu) set up a fight, but unfortunately he was also got killed.

Now the revenge responsibility shifts to guru Raj’s younger son Radha (manoj). Here there is another brother between Kali & Radha played by vadde Naveen.

Now what happens next, how did Radha took revenge and what role does Vadde Naveen played in the whole script is to be seen in the theater.

Positive Points:

Like many other Ram Gopal verma movies this movie also very good at camera work. It is typical RGv style, which made the presence of every character in a natural way. Prakash Raj & Jagapathi Babu played small roles in the movie, but they are at their usual best.

The main plus point is Manchu Manoj. We have never Seen him in this kind of role. His presence was well felt and he also impressed a lot in the new avatar. Vadde Naveen made a impressive comeback and his role also well written.

Second half movie is bit racy till the climax.

Negative Points:

The biggest minus point in the movie is lots of characters. Due to which you will lose clarity in the flick. Everything looks hurried up and confusing. Villain role played by Abhimanyu Singh did a regular job like his previous movies, this will make you feel bore.

Heroine Surabhi was a waste to the movie as she doesn’t have anything to do. Poonam Kaur also failed to impress in the flick. Second half is good, but a dragged climax spoiled everything.

Technical Dept:

Camera work is at its top notch, but screenplay is a big drawback, it spoiled everything due to many characters and lack of clarity. Editing is below par as there are many scenes to be deleted.

Direction by Ram Gopal Verma is not new to anyone as he is a genius in these kind of movies. But he failed to impress this time. Many unnecessary dragging bored audience.

Verdict:

Nothing much to be said about this movie, RGV tried something and it failed again. He tried too many things which spoiled the movie. If he would have stick to simpler form, then it would have been better.
