Akhil Movie Review

Akhil Movie Review

So the wait is over and Akkineni fans are celebrating Diwali in double joy. Their favorite hero’s Son Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie has been released worldwide with a positive buzz. However there were some delays and rumors about the release, but it finally out.

Story:-

Akhil (Akhil Akkineni) is a fun loving and adventurous boy. He once fell in love with Divya (Sayesha Segal). After many trails she finally fell for her and they became lovers. Then comes the twist in the story, when Sayesha was kidnapped and kidnapers took her to African forest.

They want a scientific ball named Jua from a tribe and they want Akhil to get it for them. Tribe people believe that the ball holds the power of Sun and it would destroy the world if handed over to bad people.

What happens next, how Divya was connected to the story. See for yourselves.

Positive Points:-

Movies grandness and Akhil’s presence is the major plus for the movie. In the movie Akhil did some fantastic dance numbers and mesmerizes with his dance performance. His movies in action episodes were also very stylish and one to watch. Though he need some experience in expressions giving scenes. Keeping in mind his first movie he did fine.

Heroine Sayesha Segal also impressed all with her screen presence. She looks beautiful and her acting also very matured. She also danced well in every song and gave a nice support to Akhil.
Music and Back ground score by Anup Rubens and Mani Sharma were perfectly apt to the movie.

Negative Points :-

Second half of the movie is the minus point. V V Vinayak’d direction in the second half is below par. He seems to be hurry in warping up everything from interval to climax. Some scenes were pretty bore, especially the graphics scenes were very cartoonish. They spoiled the mood.

Also the movies silly comedy divert people from the tempo created by the first half.

Technical Dept:-

Only Music and art work were good in the movie. Remaining all are just average or below par. Music by anup Rubens and background by Mani sharma were very nice and perfectly apt for the movie. Art department did a nice job in sets designing but the poor graphics spoiled everything.

Direction by V V Vinayak is not up to the expectations. Comparing to his earlier movies this movie is just below his level. First half is good with racy screenplay, but the second half is just awful.

Camera work is just average. Fights and dance choreographer did some splendid job and they are the real heroes of the movie as their work is very appreciable.

Verdict:-

In whole half of the movie is good and half is bad. As we said earlier first half id very nice which built up a nice tempo, which was spoiled by the second half’s bad screenplay. Akhil’s fights and dances were very nice. Heroine and hero’s chemistry was goof in the movie.

Overall a nice movie and it worth a watch.
