Size Zero Movie Review

Anushka is the only heroine who can portray a glamorous role, a deglamorise role and a different role like she did in “Size Zero”. In this movie Anushka played a role of a girl who is suffering from obesity. She took a real risk with her body as she put on more weight for the role.

The movie released today Let’s see what it have for us.

Story :-

Sweety  (Anushka) is fat girl but very cute. As usual things happen to a fat girl , like having problem with getting married Anushka also faces the same problem. Even though her parents tried their best thay failed to bring a perfect match for Anushka.

So upset Anushka decided to give a break to this issue, after then she came across Abhi (Arya) a NRI who is making documentary movies. Sweety feel for her , but later she noticed that Abhi is liking Simran (Sonal Chauhan). Disappointed Anushka joined “Size Zero” to reduce her weight.

What happened after is to be seen in theater.

Positive Points:-

As we all know Anushka is the main plus point in the movie. It will look a apt role for her and she will make you feel that nobody else can do this. She is superb in the movie and her cuteness I overloaded. Arya supported her to his best and so as Sonal chauhan.

Prakash Raj played a different role which proved to be a worthy one. Urvashi as Anushka’s mother did a fantastic job, her scenes with Anushka were very heart touching.

Negative Points:-

The main minus point in the movie is second half’s screenplay. While director showed a good grip on the script in first half he lost the same in the second half. He simply deviated from the main story and concentrated on Size Zero program.

With this second half became predictable and audience will lose interest in the movie. There were few unnecessary scenes which would have been edited.

Technical Dept :-

In this department visual and richness of the movie is appreciable. The movie looks very lavish. Music is ok in the movie, Keravani did an average job. More is expected from him. However background music is nice and apt for the flick.

Director Prakash Lovelamudi did a superb job in the first half and spoiled in the second half. His selection in every department is perfect and if he would have taken some care in second half ‘s screenplay then the movie would have been something.

Verdict:-

A nice try by the team, Anushka is appreciable for her efforts. Director Prakash did a nice job. Overall a nice movie and worth a watch and that to for Anushka’s hardwork.
