Janatha Garage Telugu Movie Review

Finally the much hiked movie “Janatha Garage” released worldwide. Fans of NTR are in full swing to watch the movie as they have huge expectations on this flick to be a blockbuster.

Story:

The story starts with Sathyam (Mohan Lal) a mechanic who runs a garage in the name of “Janatha Garage”. He not only repairs auto mobile but also repairs people’s problems. During this a criminal named Mukesh (Sachin khelkar) kills Satyam’s brother. However their family lives in Mumbai and his son is none other than Anand (NTR).

Anand is a nature lover and loves plants to the most. Due to some reasons he encountered with Satyam and seeing Anand’s good intentions, he offers him to join “Janatha Garage” for greater good of society. Now what happens next, does Anand came to know about his big father and what Anand did to Janatha Garage is the crux of the movie.

Positive Points:

The major plus points of the movie is two important characters in name of Anand (NTR) and Satyam (Mohan Lal). The whole movies revolves around these two characters and their emotions. Mohan Lal is a national award winning actor and he proved why he was chosen for that award. His acting over shadowed NTR in some places. It was his acting that holds the movie in many places.

On the other hand, NTR grown one step in terms of acting. In this you will see a different NTR. He showcased emotions in very different way and people will connect to him easily. Coming to the story first half is very slow and will make you feel bore. However second half is a bit racy and have all the emotional and action drama in it.  Songs in the movie came in nice situations and also shot well. Especially the “Jai Ho Janatha” song will give you Goosebumps. “Apple Beauty” song showcased NTR’s dancing skills, while “Pakka Local” will make mass fans to dance on it.

Negative Points:

The major minus point of the movie is lack of a proper story. The whole movie runs on two persons emotions and their actions. The movie lacks a proper story to hold on and that is why people will feel bore in between.

Proceeding is also very slow and the run time is very long, these factors also damaged the tempo in the movie. Heroines Samantha and Nitya Menon are totally wasted as they have nothing to do much. Pre climax and climax are completely usual and have nothing to offer.

Technical Aspects:

Technically the movie is good in Music and cinematography. Devi Sri Prasad has given some awesome music  and four of his songs were chart busters. Background music is an additional attraction to the movie as it elevated all the emotional and actions to a next level. Tiru’s cinematography has given the movie a rich look. Editing and visuals are just ok.

Coming to the director koratala Shiva, he is the main reason for the movies hike and expectations. But he failed to achieve them. He is a skilled writer, he proved that again by writing the main characters role in the movie, but failed to write a complete script having a story in it.

His dialogs are good and his direction in some parts is exceptional.

Verdict:

Overall it is an average movie, and fans will be upset as they have pinned huge hopes on it. A better script with proper side characters would have lifted the movie to the next level. It is an one time watch movie.
