Pataas Movie Review

 

NTR Grandson, this tag will help to enter the industry but to withstand there you should prove yourself. Kalyan Ram entry in to industry was hit but then he struggled a lot to maintain that. In spite of being a versatile actor, “hit” word was a bit far from this action hero. His latest release “Pataas” raise hope not only in actor but also in his fans. 

Story:

Kalyan Sinha (Kalyan ram) was IPS officer .he miss use his powers to earn bribe . He then transfers to Hyderabad and joins hand with local politician Ash tosh Rana. His illegal actions create headache for DGP (Sai Kumar).Then suddenly twist revels and DGP comes to know about Kalyan. What’s that secret? Why Kalyan became corrupt? Are the rest story.

Artists Performance:

Being a routine story and regular cop character Kalyan Ram justifies his role. His approach is cool and he played his character in ease. His variations in corrupt and honest officer were good and impressive. Female lead Shriti Sodhi as TV reporter  did a descent job and justifies her role.

After long time Say Kumar got a nice role to play as superior officer and as usual, he lives in his character. After Thadaka Ashutosh rana seen again in Main, villain role and he did good. Srinivas as sidekick beside Kalyan was good and makes us laugh throughout movie. Other comedians M.S.Narayana , Poasani ,madhu sets up good show.

Technical Aspects:

Here we should talk about director Anil Ravipudi, being a debutant director; he carved the script and movie in a right way. In spite of being old and regular concept of police, he maintained the comedy, tempo throughout film and ends it well. Music by sai karteek was catchy. Dialog of the movies are witty and powerful. Action, cinematography and editing are done well.

Verdict:

It’s  worth watching the Pataas movie. Can be seen along with family. Overall, a nice time pass film.
